I have never been good at writing or talking about myself, so I will try my best to be interesting to read this “About me” page conjunction with some pictures instead being a boring wall of text 
In my daily life, I’m experiencing the wonderful world of the IT. Solving problems, creating solutions and creating unexpected problems related in the things we use daily. Nothing really exciting to tell more about it…
I always liked anime, as it was different and it appealed me more then the regular cartoons that was showed during my time, some of them was still awesome though like: Dexter’s Lab, Cow & Chicken, Courage The cowardly dog etc. I started with anime like: Dragonball Z, Gyver, Hikaru no Go & Kiddy Grade.
But it was till I heard about Code Geass ( Season 1 already aired & Season 2 first 2 episodes was just aired ) that I started to watch more anime like the series Aria, Clannad, Kanon, Nanoha, Haruhi, Higurashi, Lucky Star to name a few. Since then I keep watching the latest anime and catching up on the old ones that is still on my watch list.
I started collecting figures at the end of the year 2008 which up to today of writing this expanded to 200+ figures. I always had second thoughts of buying figures as the quality of the PVC figures was not worth the money how they look. But at 2008 more and more better quality came out and I started to buy them. Which kind of figures you can see either some here on my website and for a total overview you can see by clicking the cute nendo picture below:
I became interested in Photography in 2009 when I noticed the fantastic blogger Kodomut with his nendoroids, his creativity and storytelling! Started with a simple Point & Shoot camera which I already had with no intention to invest money for a DSLR or anything related to photography. Until near end of 2009, I thought by myself “I’m going to Vietnam on 1st of January for 5 weeks, better buy better camera for pictures” ( Nice excuse no? ). So with that thought, I bought my first DSLR… a Canon 450D with standard lens and shot some pictures with it in Vietnam, including nendoroids off course! Here are some pictures I personally like:
As my hobby Photography grew along with my passion for figures, I came across the other part of the already dangerous figure collecting hobby ( money wise 
) called Dollfie Dreams by the company Volks! Always enjoyed the beautiful pictures taken by fellow Dollfie Dreams ( DD ) owners: iGabriel, Hololo, Ultimaknight etc. And being a Nanoha fan, thus seeing lovely pictures of Dollfie Dreams like these:
I finally bought a Dollfie Dream around August 2010, Nanoha being my first one as she is my holy grail regarding Nanoha merchandise ( actually everything else ) and the DD family still growing strong! See below a couple pictures of my lovely girls :3
I only became interested in cosplay photography in 2011 at the convention called Animecon. A friend of mine convinced me to go with him there to take pictures of the cosplayers, because I told him I was not really interested in the merchandise being sold there ( too expensive ) and the most activities are not interesting for me. But taking pictures of cosplayers peaked my interest, as I was not focusing taking pictures of people ( only figures, nendoroids & Dollfie Dreams ) and I always liked cosplay ( to look at and not actually cosplaying ). Here below are some of the first pictures I took of cosplayers at Animecon 2011, where the same friend also convinced me to go to the other big convention called Abunai that was being held 3 months later.
From Abunai 2011 the convention x cosplay photography exploded as well my “presence” as a photographer at convention which surprised me a lot! That wouldn’t be happening without the cosplayers & friends I met at the conventions. Hereby I thank you!
Just before Abunai 2011, I discovered on Youtube the famous cosplay videographerAckonl that was and still is making beautiful & different approach of cosplay on video. Which I’m trying to do as well at conventions I attend in the future.
A lot of things happened in the small year I started taking photographs of cosplayers! My network in the dutch anime convention & cosplayers exploded like crazy & even forced me using Facebook…. XD As for the future, I will keep attending conventions, so long time & money allows me, taking more pictures of my DD’s, Nendoroids, Figures and posting about it.
